Chuckers :: Family Tossing Game

As a small gesture to our service men and women in the U.S.M.C., CHUCKERS Global Partners is placing the game in the Single Marine Recreation Center called The 5th Street Zone on the expansive Twentynine Palms Marine Corps base in southern California, and at the Single Marine Recreation Center – called The Zone – at the United States Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in northern San Diego county, adjacent to the City of Oceanside, CA.

Barracks throughout both bases will also be getting the game since recruits are often restricted to base during training, and the Single Marine Coordinators at these two basses have informed us the recruits are always looking for something to do during lax training periods. This is where CHUCKERS comes in, because the game can help ease the burden of "nothing to do"/"nowhere to go" by providing troops with a means for friendly, yet competitive sporting game fun. And we all know how competitive US Marines can be!

The Twentynine Palms Marine Corps base is home to the Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Center (MAGTFTC) and the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC). From the official web site here is the MAGTFTC mission statement:

The two-fold mission of the MAGTFTC is to operate the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center for live fire combined arms training that promotes readiness of operating forces; and provide facilities, services, and support, responsive to the needs of tenant commands, Marines, Sailors and their families.

Note: From the initial responses of Marine trainees to the game, we know in some small way CHUCKERS will make their rigorous training assignments less onerous by giving them a way to let off steam and the means to participate in recreational sporting game fun with their fellow Marines.
